Sneak Peak

Today it threatened to rain and I was not a happy camper. The only wedding that has been rained out at this venue to date is mine and I was not going to have the second be one I was shooting! Other wise I was going to have to call myself the Hall and Gardens at Landmark curse! But it cleared up and the sun came out just in time for the most beautiful day! This wedding was amazing, the joining of these two families is just incredible. As you can probably see by the post time it is about 5:00am and I only slept for about 3 hours so I'm exhausted but my cold just will not let me get the sleep I so desperately need so I thought I would show off my beautiful day! More from this wonderful day in a couple of days! I'm going to try to get a few more hours of sleep!

I just love this one with all the kids watching the first dance!

Class of '09~Chloe

Before I got married I lived beside Chloe and her family for something like 13 years. She was always the cutest little girl with beautiful curly hair! She has turned into a beautiful woman. I had the pleasure of taking her senior pictures on Sunday, we got 2 of her outfits in before the ran or should I say down poor came so hopefully we'll be updating this post soon with some from downtown Raleigh.

Bonus points to anyone who can tell me where this next photo was taken.

Miss Allison.

Friday I did a shoot with lovely Allison! Her mom was kind enough to do my new logo. Allison was a perfect angel to work with, she did everything I asked of her. Here are just a few of my favorites!

Hilary and Adam ~ Wedding

This past weekend I had the pleasure of starting off my wedding season with Hilary and Adam's Emerald Isle wedding. I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming family! The weather was perfect as well as the wedding. Here are a few pictures from the day.
Here's one of Hilary's bridal portraits I've been waiting to show!

I think makeup is one of my favorite times!
All the bridesmaids had one of a kind handmade necklaces that were fabulous!
I just love this shot, it's a fun take of the boutonniere.

All the hands it takes to get the bride dressed just in time to walk down the isle!

A beautiful toast given by Hilary's grandfather.
A perfect first dance. This is one of my favorite shots from the day.

Stacey Class of '08

Monday I had the pleasure of doing senior portraits for the lovely Miss Stacey. She was adorable and I am thrilled with how they turned out! I barely did any photoshopping on any of these just a few, I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off getting ready to leave for E.I. for a wedding this weekend! My blog isn't translating the color right for some reason so they may look a little off.

I'm not a big fan of cap and gown pictures but I thought this one was really great!

Obviously I did photoshop this one! I love the antique look!

I did photoshop this one with an antique tone on top of the color, I like how it turned out.

Notta nothing with her eyes or anything! Aren't they gorgeous? Making all of us brown eyed girls jealous!

Great Strides

This weekend was the Cary Great Strides Walk. It went really well, they even raised over $100,000! We had our Sophie's Hope team again this year. Sophie came and was as stylish as normal! Here are a few quick shots I got before, during and after the walk.
